Last night at the Stadio Olimpico in Torino, Alessandro Del Piero scored his 41st goal in his long career in the UEFA Champions League.
It was a trademark touch of the highest quality that left one of the best keepers in the world, Iker Casillas, helpless, as he watched it sail into the corner of the net.
Del Piero described the game, along with the play that led to the goal itself:

"Juve x Real Madrid is a different type of game. It gives you particular sensations, that we are able to transmit on the pitch... Games like these inspire you.Strike it immediately was an understatement. Ask Iker Casillas... ;-)
The ball had been deflected after a great triangle with Amauri, and it took a strange roll. It remained there (on the pitch). I decided to strike it immediately, fortunately."
The great captain and symbol of Juventus: Alessandro Del Piero.
